Reher Center

Geoffrey Miller, Chair of the Reher Center project, gratefully accepted a grant from Arts Mid-Hudson, made possible by the Ulster County Legislature’s Cultural Services and Promotion Fund. This award is being used to “develop a content management system that will allow the design of on-site exhibits and tour scripts, as well as join the network of regional institutions under the aegis of the Southeastern New York Library Resources Council, a digital repository.”

Pictured with Geoff at the presentation, on the stage of the Rosendale Theater on July 12th, are members of the Reher team including: Rhea Paniesin (Development Director); Sarah Litvin (who is developing the Interpretive Plan) and Samantha Ferrer (museum inventory expert). Geoff expressed thanks and appreciation for this important recognition by the UC Legislature and Arts-Mid-Hudson of the value of the Reher Center project and its contribution to preserving and keeping alive the stories of the immigrants who settled and passed through this part of the Hudson Valley.
