UCJF's Community Programs Committee has an activity planned for you!

The aim of Community Programs is to organize and provide support for a wide variety of activities. These are designed to bring together the Jewish community for fun social and educational activities. Past activities have included educational forums, lectures, hikes, picnics, apple picking, the Fall Fitness Event, and more.

Ongoing: Annual Campaign to raise funds in support of local synagogues, food pantries, scholarships, Family of Woodstock, Jewish Family Services and other area agencies, as well as humanitarian outreach programs that provide for needy adults and children in Israel and globally through our affiliation with the Jewish Federation of North America’s network. Sunday, June 4: 5th Annual Kingston Multi-Cultural Festival hosted by the Reher Center for Immigrant Culture & History at the Rondout. Yummy international foods as well as music and dance performances representing area ethnic groups.

Sunday, June 11: Campaign fundraiser featuring bagels and Batsheva Bodega, acclaimed Israeli-American performer at Temple Israel in Catskill, held jointly with the Jewish Federation of NE, NY.

Thursday, September 7: Fall for Art – 21st annual juried art show, sale & cocktail reception benefitting area charities & featuring local artists. www.fallforart.org.
