UCJF's Community Programs Committee has an activity planned for you!
The aim of Community Programs is to organize and provide support for a wide variety of activities. These are designed to bring together the Jewish community for fun social and educational activities. Past activities have included educational forums, lectures, hikes, picnics, apple picking, the Fall Fitness Event, and more.

Ongoing: Annual Campaign to raise funds in support of local synagogues, food pantries, scholarships, Family of Woodstock, Jewish Family Services and other area agencies, as well as humanitarian outreach programs that provide for needy adults and children in Israel and globally through our affiliation with the Jewish Federation of North America’s network. Wednesday, March 14: COOKING DEMO & DINNER at Bruce Paley’s Bowery Dugout, 857 Ulster Ave., Kingston, NY – a fundraiser in support of the PJ Library program. Minimum: $54 per person includes two glasses of wine and $24 donation.
Thursday evening, April 12, 7pm: HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL PROGRAM. In cooperation with the Jewish Congregation of New Paltz, 8 Church Street. Join our candlelight Yom HaShoah service with second generation survivors, remembering those who perished in the Holocaust with poetry, songs and readings. FREE
Sunday, May 6, 1:00-5:30pm: CELEBRATION OF ISRAEL AT 70! Celebrate ISRAEL at 70 and enjoy Israeli food, songs and dance (led by the Vanaver Caravan), and children’s activities at the Woodstock Jewish Congregation’s beautiful grounds, sponsored by the Israel Advocacy Committee of the Ulster County Jewish Federation. Sunday, June 3, 1:00-5:30pm: 6th ANNUAL KINGSTON MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL at Gallo Park on the Strand in the Rondout District. Enjoy international foods, dancers and musicians representing a wide array of ethnic traditions. A project of the Reher Center for Immigrant Culture and History. 3rd Annual IMMIGRANT GIFTS TO AMERICA (Dates to be confirmed) Location, time and details to come.
